The Rusher jabs at the air, looking for me. Still invisible, I position myself behind one of the Ascendant and perform a Takedown. My poor victim falls to the ground, unconscious. The last two Ascendants look at each other, terrified. Who will be the next to fall? |

I can see the hideout just beyond the remaining Ascendants. Vincent will be there. I'm so close to exacting my vengeance. Only two more to go. The Rusher hits the ground with his electric spear. The Gunner raises his weapon, ready to shoot. "Stand your ground! We can take down one cowardly Quaestor." "You won’t be stealing our minds! We’re no puppets!" Even though there are only two of them, I must be careful. This Rusher looks tough. Can I take him one-on-one? I crack my knuckles. I need to win this fight.
